Hello, Everyone! It’s been so crazy hectic this past month, so I truly apologize for staying away so long!
Today after my workout, I was all set to make my usual protein shake and I wanted to share it with you.
Not only is it delicious, it’s also very simple to make, only has a few ingredients, and best of all it’s only 1 SmartPoint. Check it out!
Plus in this video, I share that I’m lactose intolerant and introduce you to someone! Meet George! LOL :)

- 1 scoop of Quest Protein Shake – Salted Caramel
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender – preferably a Ninja Blender.
- Blend together.
Enjoy!
Quest Nutrition Protein Powder:
- You can get the Quest Protein shake at your local GNC store or if you want to save some money, you can buy it on Jet.com.

I hope you like this recipe! And thanks again for being so patient! In the rush of trying to film this video – it totally escaped me that I was showing off my bare arms!!! LOL
It has definitely been a long way from when I first started my journey and my arms were 22 inches wide! Now after losing my weight, they’re down to 11 1/2 inches! I know they’re not muscular/toned, but after 20+ years of abuse, it’s a miracle they even work, y’all!
Check out this pic I took at the beginning of my journey. I was SUPER happy here that I had lost some weight and finally fit back into a size 28! LOL
Well, I for one am super grateful for the way my arms look now., and I’m super glad to be back with y’all. I’ve truly missed you! Have a wonderful morning, Everyone!
Hi! Can you please remind me about your experience of hair loss. I just read a Facebook post from a lady who says she is having hair loss, and I immediately thought of you. I know you have talked about this in YouTube videos, but I don't remember which one. I would love to comment to the lady who is so upset about her hair. Her doctor said she was fine.
ReplyDeleteI think I talked about it on my Motivation video. I was losing my hair because I was severely deficient in protein. I was only eating around 20grams a day and it was wreaking havoc on my system. As soon as I amped up my protein, my hair grew back, my skin tightened, and I felt awesome. Hope this helps! :)
DeleteJulie! We miss you!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Thanks, Dee! I try to post at least one video a month! I'm so glad you're liking them and finding them useful. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting :)
DeleteHi Julie' thanks for this video going to try the shake for myself. Could you do a video on how you have kept on track to your weight goal, I have about 4st plus to loss and I am not doing well at all, I dont know how long your journey has been but you have done it, I'm not sure what is preventing me from staying on track and I thought hearing from someone who has succeeded and who always seams so up beat may offer some encouragement to myself and other's. thanks Susan
ReplyDeleteHiya, Susan! I think the best thing for me was I now work with Weight Watchers as a Leader and Receptionist. That has really kept me going and the secret to the program is tracking and going to the meetings. Being accountable and doing the work is what keeps you on the path. Hope this works and good luck, Susan! You can totally do this :)
