Hello, Everyone!
As you well remember, I fractured two of my toes a few months ago, and this led to a change in my exercise routine. Now that I’m all better, I wanted to share my new routine with you.
Is a rest day. Usually this is my grocery day and I’m up and down all day getting ready for the coming week. It’s also usually my weigh in day, so it’s a super busy day in itself without adding a workout!
Every workout day starts with Jen Hilman and a relaxing yoga video. It really wakes me up and gets my day going. I’ve got all the moves down, so I don’t usually take the whole time on the video, and speed things up to around 10 minutes.

Tuesday’s a working day for me, so I’m up before 6 a.m. so I can be sure to get my workout in before work. After yoga, I do Claudia Schiffer’s Perfectly Fit Arms Workout, using my 10lb weights. This has been 3 years in the making. I started with a can of green beans, and now I’m up to 10lb weights! :)
This video was originally released on VHS, and unfortunately they don’t make it on DVD. But thank goodness for the Internet!

Then after the arm workout, I do Leslie Sansone’s Burn 30 Workout. I couldn’t find a YouTube link to it, but here’s a link to it for purchase on Amazon.

I did find the video on the web, though I couldn’t figure out how to embed it on my blog. Here is the link:

That finishes up my Tuesday workout, and I end everything off by making sure to drink lots of water! The workout lasted around an hour, so it was definitely time well spent.
Jen Hilman’s video once again starts out my day and after I’m done with it, I do a 30 minute free dance cardio session.
I mix dancing, running, and walking to my favorite jams on my iPod. Eventually, I’ll increase the time to 50 minutes, but since I’ve just barely recovered from my injury, I don’t want to jump in too fast. So, I’m taking it slow with 30 minutes for now.
Then I take a few minutes for Tracy Campoli’s Bat Wings video.
It’s super intense, but so effective! Love it!
Afterwards, I do Leslie Sansone’s The Big Burn 2 Miles of Intervals. I couldn’t find a link to it on YouTube, but I did find it for sale on Amazon.

So that finishes off my Wednesday workout. It’s also a little over an hour, but I will eventually be bumping up the time as I get more comfortable with cardio.
Jen Hilman starts me off on this workday.
I’m up again bright and early to make sure I get my workout in before I head off to work. After Jen Hilman, I do my favorite kettlebell workout from Tone it Up.
I’m currently using a 10lb kettlebell. I’m very comfortable with the weight at the moment, and I don’t anticipate going up for a while.
After kettlebells, I do Tracy Campoli’s Bat Wings video again, and then I’m off for 30 minutes on my elliptical bike!
I’m so in love with my Weslo Momentum G 3.2 Bike/Elliptical 2-in-1 Hybrid Trainer; it was definitely a life saver when I fractured my toes. My doctor told me no cardio for 6 weeks, but told me I could pedal a bike. I was so elated I could continue to workout, and now my machine has made its way into my exercise routine.
On Thursdays I do a 10 minute session of riding the bike, then 15 minutes on the elliptical, and then finally 5 minutes back on the bike. I try to hit more than 7 miles and 200 calories burned.
I got this amazing machine at Walmart!
This workout is also around an hour, and as usual I make sure to hydrate.
Friday is also my rest day. I try to relax as much as possible, though payday usually falls on every other Friday and I’m busy running around paying bills.
Jen Hilman starts off my Saturday workout.
After warming up, I grab my 10lb weights and workout with Leslie Sansone’s Firm 30.
This is the companion to her Burn 30 workout and you’ll find it on the same DVD. It’s a great value. Here’s the link to it on Amazon again.

After Firm 30, I do a 40 minute session on my elliptical bike. This time, it’s 15 minutes biking, 20 minutes elliptical, and 5 minutes back to the bike. Eventually, I’ll change it up to increase my elliptical time, but for now I’m okay with 20 minutes.
My workout is a little over an hour, and I make sure to drink lots of water.
Jen Hilman starts off my workout again, and then afterwards I do Tracy Campoli’s Bat Wings video.
After that, it’s time for Jessica Smith’s Indoor Jogging video.
I take it easy on Sunday and my workout is less than an hour long.
And that’s it y’all. If there’s a day where I have lots of time, I’ll try to sneak in my Claudia Schiffer abs workout. It’s super intense and I love it.

Well there you have it, my exercise routine. Please keep in mind that this was three years in the making. I started working out only 10 minutes a day, three times a week and have steadily increased it over the three years I’ve been on Weight Watchers.
I also started out lifting cans of green beans and now I’m up to 10lb weights. So, it’s been a gradual process.
What about you? What does your exercise routine look like? Share it with me!
