Is All Fruit Really Zero SmartPoints?

Hiya, Everyone! I just ran across this article on my Weight Watchers account and I had to share the amazing news.

Q: So, is all fruit really Zero SmartPoints?

A: No.

Just like in PointsPlus, if you’re drinking your fruit or veggies – like in a smoothie – then you do have to count points for it.

But unlike PointsPlus, SmartPoints takes things a little bit further. If you’re going to be eating your fruit/veggies, such as mashing them for a recipe, grating them, or eating them in a soup, then they remain at Zero SmartPoints.

It’s only when you’re drinking your fruit/veggies that points come into play. Woo hoo! This is the best news ever!!!

However, don’t go all out and start gorging on Zero points cauliflower tortillas; let your weight loss be your gauge. If you’re seeing that the scale’s not budging, limit your intake.

But how awesome is this? I love SmartPoints!!! What do you think? Share your thoughts.
