Hiya, Everyone!
Last week, Hubby was in town and I literally couldn’t get a spare second to post with the whirlwind of a week I was having! So many things were going on!
Anyhoo, by some miracle I made it to my meeting amidst all the goings on, and we were talking about our “whys” and how they can help us be our anchor in our weight loss journey.
I dusted off my size 28 pants and took them to the meeting as my “why”. It was a great meeting, but I was a bit bummed with the results of the scale.
The week before had been a great week. I was on track every day. Exercised. Tracked. You name it – I did it. So I was all set for my weigh in on Monday thinking I had the scale beat and my trip to Onederland was finally here.
Wrong!!! I have ZERO clue what happened. It wasn’t that time of the month. I slept adequately. The stars and moon were all aligned, but the scale just didn’t care about all my effort and I actually gained .8!!! Ugh!?
I really hate when weeks like this happen. But they do happen. *le sigh* On the flip side, there will be weeks when you splurge and feel like you did everything wrong, yet the scale will somehow miraculously show a loss. You’re in shock, but ever so grateful. I love those weeks!
Oh well, too bad the week didn’t go this way for me this time. Guess my ticket to Onederland is on hold until my body figures out whatever it’s doing.
