Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
I’m so excited to share my Transformation Tuesday pics!
Right after I had my son – fifteen years ago – I started putting on weight and never stopped! Everything started to expand – my waistline, face, arms, you name it. Then things started becoming difficult, like walking and tying my shoelaces. I knew I had to do something, but I would always make excuses; putting things off and telling myself I’d start tomorrow, or next month, or next year.
But then came that fateful Memorial Day Weekend in 2013 and I knew I had to make a change when I reached 363lbs and my pant button broke off as I sat down. A week later, I joined Weight Watchers, wearing my pants with a safety pin to keep them from falling.
After the meeting, I remember telling my sister to take a picture of me. She laughed and asked me why. I told her very seriously that I wanted a picture as a memory because I was never going to look like how I did at that moment again. I was determined to make the program work for me. I posed with my Weight Watcher sticker from the meeting and put on a smile.
Fast forward to almost two years now and I’m so happy to be down 150 lbs! I still have a bit more to go and I can’t wait to get to my AFTER picture when I hit my goal weight.
There’s been a lot of ups and downs during my journey, but it’s all been worthwhile. I just recently had a routine checkup and my numbers are all fabulous!
Thank you, Weight Watchers for giving me a healthier, new me!
